Reporting Absences

To report an absence, please call or email the attendance clerk (510-644-6330, willardattendanceoffice@berkeley.net) before 10 am. If the absence is known in advance, you may also email your child’s teachers to check for any make-up assignments.

Excused vs. Unexcused Absences

• Excused Absences: Medical or family emergencies.
• Unexcused Absences: Absences that do not fall under the excused category.

All California students can receive free lunch. Students may bring their own lunch or opt for the school-provided lunch, which is served outside.

Handling Bullying

If your child feels they are being bullied, please reach out to their teacher or counselor. The school can address these issues confidentially to ensure a safe environment for all students.

Reporting Negative Behavior

Encourage your child to report any observed negative or dangerous behavior to a teacher or counselor.
